You will develop a conceptual framework that explains the phenomena creating one of the issues that you will focus on for your Portfolio Project.
Interdisciplinary thought is based on frameworks that bring together theories in an effort to provide unique insight on the climate and causes of problems in the world. Use the issue of Homelessness, and bring in theories from your degree work or from the field of interdisciplinary studies, explain what you believe to be the reasons behind the issue.

For example, if you selected local homelessness, explain how or why an interdisciplinary solution could be beneficial for solving the homeless problem in your environment or community. Be sure to identify an interdisciplinary theory that you would expect to apply in each solution.
Your paper will be at least three pages long and will include these elements:
• Introduction and conclusion.
• Exploration of the reasons behind your chosen issue, combining at least three theories to create a conceptual framework that supports your causal analysis.
• Definition and overview of how interdisciplinary theories can be helpful in finding a solution for the problem in your environment or community that you chose.
• At least two peer-reviewed references from the CSU Global Library.
