This work intends to provide insights of worldwide research on the Mobile Phone datasets using network analysis (VOSviewer app) and meta-analysis (statistical analysis). For web search query, the Scopus , WOS, IEEE, ACM databases were used for articles and review indexed under the terms “Mobile Phone Data datasets” or “Spatial Analysis” or “Call Detailed Records” or “Mobile Location Data.”
In order to provide some insight into the current state and future trends in mobile phone network data, we first performed a metaanalysis of research papers attained through the SLR process according to the selection of paper (inclusion criteria) . Following that, a detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of the selected literature was performed, (meta-analysis).
