Military and Veterans Mental Health – Why its important.
In order to become a successful argumentative writer, an individual must possess the ability to propose an argument and actively locate credible source materials. In order to achieve this, a writer must engage in a research process designed to find and cite appropriate source materials to support an academic argument.
Your second major assignment for the class will use the skills learned in lectures four through seven to create a prospectus. As you’ll recall, a prospectus is divided into two parts: (1) the proposal of the argument and problem; and, (2) a working bibliography with properly cited sources relevant to the argument/problem. A working bibliography is similar to a works cited page with one significant exception: citations in a working bibliography are a list of sources you may use in your research.
The proposal section of the prospectus should address the following:
The proposal section of the prospectus must be 300 words long, follow proper MLA document format rules, and be free of grammar and sentence errors.
For the second section of the prospectus, you will generate a working bibliography of ten credible resources relevant to the problem you are arguing needs to be solved. Remember, most of your research will focus on this problem.
