The Black West Film is a 2014 documentary of Black students at the University of Wyoming. It gives insights on their everyday experiences attending the university and living in Wyoming. This assignment allows you to watch the film while identifying different forms of microaggressions. The different forms of microaggressions are found in the Derald Wing Sue reading. Use the 9 types of racial microaggressions in Table 1, page 6 of the article to analyze the film. Find specific examples of at least 5 of these types of racial microaggressions in the film. Use at least 5 of the 9 types of racial microaggressions in your analysis. To clarify, you only have to use 5 of the 9 types for this essay. Students should include specific details from the film, but do not have to cite the film in APA 6th edition. Instead, please write the name of the student that gave the example you used in the paper. Be sure to elaborate on each example to form your argument for that microaggression.
