Installing large-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems is becoming increasingly popular as the cost of PV technology continues to fall. However, there are a number of challenges and economic considerations that need to be taken into account when planning and designing large-scale PV installations.
In this paper, we review some of the key technical challenges associated with large-scale PV installations, including module reliability, system integration, and grid connection. We also discuss the economic considerations that need to be taken into account when assessing the viability of large-scale PV projects, such as project costs, financing options, and government incentives.
Overall, we conclude that while there are a number of challenges associated with large-scale PV installations, they are not insurmountable and there are a number of ways to overcome them. With the right planning and design, large-scale PV installations can be a cost-effective way to generate electricity.
