Below are some articles/videos about natural dyeing. Choose two of these articles or find your own that has a cultural connection that represents your culture or a culture of interest. Read/watch and comment on them for this assignment. The list below is just a beginning list and doesn’t include the entire globe yet!
If you are motivated to find an internet accessible, cultural use of dyes article from another culture or to add to the list in any way, please do so! You must choose 1 article below, and for you second article link to an article you found that represents your culture or another area of the globe of interest. Make sure your reference is in line with this assignment. After review, it will be added to the list for the next class to consider.
Here’s what you are to do:
- Read/Skim several articles from the list below.
- Choose 2 articles to comment on and give a short 150-word paragraph response to each of the prompts below (no more than 250 words per prompt please). Comment on both articles in your response. You are not to retell the article but comment on the meaning and take away points of the articles.
- In your submitted response, be sure to link to the articles you read so your Peer can read the articles prior to replying to your prompt.
