The right to have rights was at the core of the revolutions in eighteenth-century France, colonial America, and eighteenth-century Haiti because people wanted to be free from tyranny. They wanted to be able to have a say in government and not be ruled by a king or queen who didn't have their best interests at heart. People wanted the right to vote, to own property, and to be treated equally under the law.
The right to have rights is still important today. We continue to fight for the right to vote, for equal treatment under the law, and for property rights. We also fight for the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These are all rights that we believe every human being deserves. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live a life free from oppression and tyranny. We will continue to fight for these rights until they are available to everyone.
