Expert answer

The biblical narrative of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration tells us a lot about the nature of God and reality in relation to sickness and disease. In the creation story, we see that God created everything good. But then in the fall story, sin entered the world and everything changed. Sickness and disease came into the world as a result of sin. But even though things are not perfect now, God is still working to redeem and restore His creation. In the redemption story, we see that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. And in the restoration story, we see that God will one day make all things new again. So even though sickness and disease are a part of this fallen world, we can have hope because we know that God is ultimately in control and will one day make everything right again.

The nature of God is good and just. He created everything perfect, but after sin entered the world through Adam and Eve, everything changed. Now sickness and disease are a reality, but we can take comfort in knowing that God is still in control and will ultimately make all things new again.

In the meantime, we can trust God to help us through our trials and to use our suffering for His purposes. We also know that, because of Jesus’ death on the cross, we have forgiveness for our sins and hope for eternal life. So even though this world is not perfect, we can have hope in the future when all things
