70% of all today's clothes are made from synthetics. That's a lot of oil. Every 25 minutes, an Olympic pool's worth of crude oil is used to produce synthetic clothing. That's 350 million barrels a year.
Determined to help people make an ecological connection between clothes, the fibres they're made of and the impact on the planet, 20something, Park Village and Studio Birthplace have created a "Wear wool, not fossil fuel" campaign that features a series of powerful visual messages.
It centres around a film, that captures a group of people that struggle to escape an oil-filled swimming pool. The film is accompanied by visually immersive and striking anamorphic DOOH* in London’s Piccadilly Circus and New York’s Times Square, along with global OOH, social support and an interactive WeTransfer partnership scheduled to coincide with the launch.
(*DOOH - Digital Out of Home advertising
anamorphosis - 'forced perspective', the practice of mathematically waring imagers so that when viewed from a specific vantage point the illusion of 3D is created on a flat surface)
You can watch the advert here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAnfzSKFbLQ
For this assignment you must write a report analysing this advert and some of the issues behind it. What is the Woolmark Company and what does it do? This advert is not trying to promote a specific brand but has a bigger message - what is this? Consider what persuasive elements are used in this campaign. What was 20something trying to achieve? What techniques have they used? Who do you think the advert is targeted to, and why?
You will be assessed on the depth of your analysis, the extent to which you draw on theory to explain your arguments, and your ability to produce a well-written and researched report.
Your report structure should include the following (word count included for guidance):
Make sure that you do not only describe what happens in the advert or give your own opinions without referring to theory.
For example you might want to look at persuasion theory, emotional advertising theory, environmental concerns, the circular economy, etc. (1500-1700 words)
Not included in the word count: Appendices, References (Harvard style)

This high usage of crude oil for producing clothing has serious consequences on global ecosystems. The energy and resources used to produce these garments are immense, meaning that the carbon footprint generated by their manufacture is also huge. Additionally, the large-scale production of synthetic materials can lead to more waste being released into landfills due to the non-biodegradable nature of plastic-based textiles. This further exacerbates our current climate crisis and contributes to an ever-growing global pollution problem.

It is essential that we take steps now to reduce our reliance on synthetics in favor of more sustainable alternatives such as organic cotton and other biodegradable materials. This would be beneficial for the environment and ensure that we can continue to enjoy fashion without damaging our planet in the process. In order to make this shift, innovation is key; from more efficient production techniques to new materials designed with sustainability in mind, technological advances will play a big role in creating a better future for fashion. With such measures in place, we can strive towards reducing the massive demand for oil-based clothing while protecting our planet's future at the same time.
In summary, it is important to recognize the environmental implications of producing synthetic clothing and take steps now to reduce its usage in favor of sustainable alternatives. Doing so would provide many benefits not only for our environment but also for fashion itself as

She is a great writer, editor, very good with understanding the task at hand and taking directions of what is being asked of her. Also she's very time efficient, I received my paper ahead of time with tracked changes so that if I had anything I would like to change, she would be able to do that and I would still receive my paper on time. Definitely use her services again.
Great revision for my paper! Thank you so much!
I was surprised by how fast the writer accomplished this task in only a couple of hours with really high standards writing. Very satisfied
Great working with Terrence, very responsive and able to adjust on the fly if needed. Recommend highly.

First time using Pehdih. When I was writing my dissertation, I got stuck using SPSS to analyze the data. The writer was very kind and understood the task completely. He helped me analyze the data. Thank you for the great work. I recommend this vendor A LOT. Will definitely be back for more
Presented her with 2 very broad topics to research and summarize into points I could use for my book. Output was excellent, delivering a clear summary to the questions in a very short turn around. Will definitely use again!
