In particular, how would have the lives of the students in the film Certain Proof: A question of worth been different if the teachers believed in full inclusion and the philosophy of the least dangerous assumption/ presumption of competence (Donnellan)?

I believe that disability is a social construct, and that there is no one definition of disability. I also believe that inclusive education is important for all students, not just students with disabilities. In certain cultures, people with disabilities are seen as less capable and are often excluded from participating in mainstream society.

This film follows the story of a group of young people who are determined to prove that disability is no barrier to success. They have formed their own football team, and they are determined to compete in the annual Special Olympics. The team is made up of students with a range of different disabilities, including blindness, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.

 

The team faces many challenges, both on and off the field. They must overcome prejudice and misunderstanding from those who believe that they are not capable of playing football. They also have to deal with the practical challenges of living with a disability. But despite all of these challenges, they are determined to succeed.

 

The film is an inspiring story of courage and determination. It shows that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. It is also a reminder that inclusive education is important for all students, not just those with disabilities.
