This paper requires you to define a challenge (for example, bullying, cyberbullying, homelessness, disability, or chronic illness such as diabetes, asthma, ADHD, etc.) facing school-aged children and teens. Include in your descriiption, statistics that indicate how much of a problem may exist in the U.S., state of Arizona, and Mohave County.

You then will explain what psychological implications may exist that could affect the child’s development. For example, how might obesity affect a child’s/teen’s self-esteem, peer relationships, family relations, social skills development.

Include in your discussion how culture might also affect the child’s strategies to cope with the challenge.

You must include at least two academic journal articles as part of your research.

The paper should be written as an essay using APA basic format. This means 1-inch margins, 12-point type, double-spaced, ½ inch indent on first line of paragraph.

Cyberbullying can be particularly harmful because it can happen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and reach a wide audience with relative anonymity.
